A scaffolding company, born in an academic lab
A small team, a network of academic and industrial partners brought in project by project, and one platform. We draw on our expertise in chassis selection, linker design, and grafting strategy to fully tailor our platform to your application.
Discovered and engineered by structural biology and biochemistry teams at CNRS and Université de Lorraine, then transferred through SATT Sayens. Acquired by Catsalyze in 2023.
Sequence is the lever industry knows how to pull. Spatial organization — how enzymes are arranged relative to each other — is nature's default, from metabolic channeling to multi-enzyme complexes. We build with it.
We co-develop with partners who know their market, then license the scaffold field by field, with supply.
The team behind Catsalyze

PharmD, entrepreneur, ex-professional rugby player.

MSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, 3+ years on the Catsalyze platform.

PhD in Chemistry, 8+ years in enzymatic cascade development.
News at Catsalyze
Invited by Louis Mouterde and Florent Allais, Catsalyze presented its protein scaffold and how anchoring enzymes onto it improves enzymatic reactions: higher activity, better enzyme production, enhanced solubility and stability, and compatibility with the main immobilisation methods. The talk also covered applications to health and diagnostics, from virus-like particle structures to multivalent diagnostics that combine binders and signal molecules around the scaffold, with the goal of lowering the limit of detection by 10 to 100 fold.
